technical manual planting period:the most suitable planting period is october take luoyang climate as standard ,temperature ranges from-15-42centigrade,in case the winter is severe,should be covered with earth and put on straw or plastic membrane. planting way :similarly to embed tree,firstly should dig up a pit that 50cm in depth and 30cm in diameter while planting ,should keep the roots vertically down ,hold the connection of the root and stem at ground level ,firm the soil and water well,fill the pit with soil up to the brim or slightly raised. the suitable soil is loamy,permeable and fertile ,the ideal p.hrange is neutral or sub-alkaline. tree peony inclines todry ,sogginess would cause root preachment .should water 4-5times each year ,should water for sproutin february ;before blooming and afterit in march and may separately .shouldnotwater or little in rainy summer ;little in autumnand water for freezing in november. the manure should be well dugin .should not manure in the coming firstyear after planting .should manure for germin february and march ;for sprout in may,please mainly we fertilizer ,in novembershould manure for going over winter,pleasemainly use organic compounds . destructive pests:pleaseuse common farm insecticide to keep against the destructivepests.should spout them the farm insecticidein april and may and in june to julyseparately . trimming :should keep against bloom in the first year of planting .after blooming in second year should cut away uneven petals and irregular shoots in autumn awell planted peony canremain in one spot for 50years of more.
