   Up till now 12wild speciesof tree peonies have been discovered inChina.They are:Paeonia Suffruticosa,P.Rockii,P.Delavayi,P.Spontanea,P.Ostii,P.Jishan,P.Yanan,P.Sichuan,P.Lutea,P.Lutea var Ludlowii,P.Potaninii and P.Qiui.
